This practical guide was created by several agencies from Hollywood Homeless Youth Partnership in cooperation with domestic violence agencies in Los Angeles County. It is designed to help the staff and administrators of agencies serving runaway and homeless youth understand key issues relating to intimate partner abuse (IPA) among runaway and homeless youth. It has been developed as a "starting point" for agencies, a first step in creating safer environments for youth and increasing staff skills in understanding and responding to IPA. |
