This short video shows excerpts from a conference held March 19-20, 2007 focusing on ending domestic violence in African-American communities.  This conference was sponsored by the Institute on Domestic Violence in the African American Community in partnership with the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Violence Against Women, and the University of Minnesota, College of Education and Human Development, School of Social Work.  This video is meant to encourage coordinated community responses to domestic violence in African-American communities and invites: family members, schools, neighbors, friends, faith leaders, role models, and mentors to step up, speak out, and address domestic violence.
