In the spring of 2010, members of the Ohio Domestic Violence Network's Steering Committee on Domestic Violence and Animal Abuse surveyed Ohio domestic violence programs to assess the needs and resources available to victims of domestic violence who are concerned about the safety and wellbeing of their pets.
